Guesty, a comprehensive platform of software products for short-term rentals, has acquired StaySense, which provides marketing and distribution solutions for property managers.
Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
Guesty raised $170 million in Series E funding last August, and the acquisition of StaySense is its fourth since that time – following acquisitions of YieldPlanet, Kigo and HiRUM.
Nashville-based StaySense says it provides a suite of software for marketing and distribution to help hospitality managers compete with national listing sites and global brands.
David Angotti, StaySense’s founder, will join the Guesty team.
“We are thrilled to welcome the StaySense team and David Angotti to the Guesty family. In doing so, Guesty is building out its local distribution arm for U.S. vacation rental managers, deepening its connection with the U.S. leisure market and diversifying distribution strategies for Guesty customers,” said Amiad Soto, CEO and co-founder of Guesty.
“David fits beautifully into Guesty’s DNA of industry experts, and the acquisition of StaySense further strengthens our position as the leading platform for vacation rental managers.”
Founded in 2013, Guesty has 15 offices and more than 800 employees around the globe. The company provides a suite of solutions for communications, marketing, payments, distribution, revenue management and has partnerships with companies including Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Hopper and more.
